How's this for a headline?
I dunno - if there's ever been an indication that poverty is not the only breeder for terrorism this latest story has got to be it. Or that the terrorists don't care what bystanders they kill.

Eric Hoffer had a lot to say on this subject.
"The less justified a man is in claiming excellence for his own self, the more ready he is to claim all excellence for his nation, his religion, his race or his holy cause."
"Unlimited opportunities can be as potent a cause of frustration as a paucity or lack of opportunities."
Hoffer didn't believe that revolutionaries and their movements were based on the sufferings of the downtrodden.
"Where people toil from sunrise to sunset for a bare living, they nurse no grievances and dream no dreams."
He ought to know since he spent much of his lifetime as one of the downtrodden.
