December is so very unpleasant

Sorry to whine, but...I have an advisee who has yet to register for Spring. On the other side of the balance I have another who has suddenly realized he might have a very different professional interest - and we need to talk. The second situation is great. The first - yikes.

And then there are last papers. And exams. And Christmas travel....

I'll live.

December is chilly, stressful, gloomy and a time that demands holiday cheer. The thing about December is that it just so very dark. I believe December is a month to stay in bed a little longer, eat after your full and cry indiscriminately. December ends with New Years, a chance to make up for all December's sins.
