We're both honored by the mention in such a prestigious blog! Perhaps your reference could have something to do with the fact that I wrote my entire dissertation in Helvetica? (On a Mac Classic II, no less....).
We're wondering, though--does blonde have the same connontation in Germany as it does here in the US? It does influence how one interprets the sign and the exhibit.
