I appreciated the photos very much. The sculptures are wonderful. The sculpture that the artist titles "The Watchers" should more appropriately be titled "Buzzard's Roost". That was the term used to describe the old men who would sit on the low wall surrounding the courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee. You'd see them sitting for a good part of the day, talking about the weather, politics and the latest gossip. They chewed tobacco, keeping a twist in their shirt pockets. This was the time when loose floor companies were still in business.

Your photo of the watchers has brought up many memories of Tennessee in another place in time. I doubt there are any Buzzards left sitting around the courthouse in Clarksville.
