Why doesn't the Correction Box in the Washington Post link to the defective story?

I would really like to see what this arrant mistake did to the rest of the story:

A Jan. 7 Page One article incorrectly described current and former intelligence officials as believing that the CIA suffers from incompetent leadership and low morale. The sentence should have said that the officials expressed resentment about such suggestions.

For instance, did the author write the rest of the story with the assumption that the "current and former intelligence officials" were attacking the CIA? Or does the story actually use a correct understanding, and only the sentence on the first page was wrong?

Why should I have to click on the stupid CIA link in the correction box and be taken to a CIA link page for WaPo stories? Take me to the story in question!
