Yes, 2010 races are beginning in earnest
Frist decides not to run for governor of Tennessee in 2010. Others jockey for position.
My parents' representative, Zach Wamp, has signs up all over East Tennessee already.

Now that you mention it, I have seen Zach's signs up on our jaunts to East Tennessee. I thought they were for his recent congressional re-election, but now that I think about it, those signs are not 2008-specific--indeed, multi-purpose.
