Neither tectonic nor volcanic? Another theory teeters . . .

The mountains of Antarctica are posing a problem to current ideas of mountain range formation - they don't seem to be either caused by colliding plates or by volcanic action. Interesting! All of us who took Geo 101 might find our science learning outdated soon.
