Local Hero
Here's a fine appreciation of a 25 year old movie, Local Hero. I need to adjust my Netflix queue.

We Rice grads can't help but remember this film for the fact that the soulless petrocapital from which Peter Reigert hails is, of course, Houston.

Great movie. I found it through Mark Knopfler's great soundtrack.
