I've been offline for a few days while we went south - Pompeii and Paestum, and an afternoon in Naples!

I love Paestum most of all - what a great site to see things, and what a great place for people taking studio art courses to have some time to work! It's only going to be a better place to go after they finish working over the Roman parts of the city, which was ongoing. Lots of signs about EU funding . . . .

I'll blog more about our trip later, but here's a photo of some students getting some wild flowers into their photos. I've got a few more Paestum shots on flickr, and more to come of Pompeii.
