A Roma!
I'm in Rome!
I was going to upload a picture from my front window, but I'm having trouble getting this internet point computer to recognize my little card reader. Oh, well, soon enough!
Yesterday was kind of jet-laggy, but today I've wandered, had cappucino and a cornetto at one of my favorite touristic-but-historic bars, bought a paper, and generally started to get acclimated. It's grey and not all that warm (39, weather channel sez). I decided not to bring a scarf with me - talk about coals to Newcastle - and I have a great excuse now to buy one. And it's sales week! So maybe I'll buy 2.
