Hmmm. Machiavelli.
For Monday my European Studies class is reading The Prince. Talk about a hard text to teach! Is he wicked? Is he prudent? Is he in Hell? Did he want to send all the Medicis to Hell? What about Secret Doctrine? I'll be suggesting a comparison to Marcus Aurelius - or maybe to all the rulers we've read about. Hmmm.
